We keep Shalom Memorial Park’s 135-acre park-like setting in pristine condition for the comfort of our visitors. We are committed to sustaining a loving memory.

The cemetery grounds feature carefully selected sculpture and artwork. Shalom Memorial Park has the Chapel in the Woods, the Beth Shearim Mausoleum, and a Holocaust Memorial.

For further convenience, Shalom’s offices and bronze memorial selection facilities are directly on-site.

We are conveniently located in Arlington Heights and easily accessible from Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

We encourage the placement of cut flowers only during the growing season, March 15th through October, and artificial flowers during the non-growing season, November 15th through February. The flowers must be placed in vases which are a part of the memorial, or in temporary vases which are available at the Administration Building. Potted plants, plantings of any kind, or flowers laid on the interment spaces are not allowed as this would detract from the carefully planned landscaping and natural beauty of the Park.

The placement of stones on a memorial can damage the surface of the memorial and is therefore discouraged. Because we realize the importance of leaving a memento of your visit, we provide a specially treated, pressure-sensitive card for this purpose. These cards are available to you at no charge in the Administration Building. We advise you to avail yourself of this service, since we cannot be held responsible for the damage to the memorial as a result of the placement of stones.

If you wish, we will provide, at no charge, a 20 year personalized Yahrzeit calendar. Keep us informed of any change of address so that we can continue to supply you with important information.

Randhill Park is a non-sectarian cemetery located on the grounds immediately adjacent to Shalom Memorial Park. Many interfaith families are drawn to Randhill Park’s lovely Garden of Devotion. This private garden was designed particularly for the needs of interfaith families.

Randhill Park offers a full range of options including its general grounds, outdoor mausoleum and columbarium. For more information about Randhill Park, please contact us at (847) 255-3520.
